An accomplished Alameda, California, real estate executive, Don Lindsey served as president of the Alameda Chamber of Commerce, participating on different committees and spearheading the relocation and building of a new Alameda police station on the corner of Oak Street and Lincoln Avenue. Additionally, Don Lindsey served on the board of directors of the city hospital and was president on multiple occasions. 

Under Mr. Lindsey’s tenure, a new hospital was built and profitably operated, He was a central figure in attracting a medical center to the former post office that is now occupied by Kaiser Permanente. He also served as president of the city’s Board of Realtors and won a lifetime award. He was also recognized in town for his efforts to preserve landmark buildings.

Two years after graduating from college, he founded a real estate company which grew to 100 agents under his guidance. He completed more than 7,000 real estate transactions. Mr. Lindsey sold the business in 2005, after 40 years in operation. During his spare time these days, he enjoys fishing.
